Advantages
Technological Innovation
  • Unique Mesh communication protocol [I.P. Protected] that allows the Remote Terminal Unit [RTU] to work with 10-year internal battery life.
  • Command and control of the RTU's from the remotely located utility for water and gas systems (systems without an external energy source).
  • Control of valves / switches etc. from the remotely located utility.
  • Time synchronization control of all RTU from the remotely located utility.
  • Each RTU can also act as a relay unit to other end units that do not have reception, even in cases where the end-unit works with a battery.
  • RTU run across infrastructure applications, for example this makes it possible to integrate electrical systems with water and gas systems.
  • Prepayment system under control of the remotely located utility.
Functional Innovation
  1. Balancing water distribution system - calculating the difference between the amount supplied against the amount consumed, the calculation can be made twice daily across a large number of test circuits or groups of end units, very accurate calculation due to the real time clock in each unit, all the clocks synchronized within just a few seconds.
  2. Closing and opening a faucet that is installed next to each water meter, in the event of identification of a  water leak/tampering or as a means of enforcement for prepayment systems.
  3. RTU parameters can be updated from the remotely located utility
  • Setting up a personal profile per end unit
  • You can update all of the alert thresholds.
  • Controlling the amount of traffic.
  • Allows the possibility of simultaneous read modes (normal, flexible freeze, repeaters).
  • Control over how and when reads will be frozen in the RTU (powerful and flexible AMI tools) allows gathering data regarding the pattern of consumer use for energy saving measures.
Benefits
  • Low current consumption.
  • An unequalled communications link budget.
  • Radio standards compliance.
  • Wide frequency range.
  • Possibility of internal or external antenna.
  • Sophisticated packaging applications complying with IP68 standards.
  • Measuring signal strength RSSI.
  • The same protocol is in compliance with the 900MHz frequency.
  • Real time accuracy of milliseconds.
  • Two-way symmetrical link, [Includes the transmission from the remote utility to the communication end unit].
  • One of the major challenges of the system is that all (100%) the reads will be made and received by the remote utility - it is assured through each individual RTU ability to act as a relay unit.
  • Requires less transceiver infrastructure to achieve full grid communication coverage. Resulting in equipment and installation cost savings.
  • Connection of up to four grid end points to a single RTU, each connection has 2 ports one of which can also be used to control a valve or switch.
  • RTU can be used as a relay for a few dozen RTUs with the use of a solar panel connection.
  • Network is built automatically - Auto login - all new network connections are automatically identified and connected to the network.
  • Simple installation, association by updating "billing system ID" within the unit.
  • A wide range of alerts at all levels of the system.
  • RTU are adaptable to a large number of types of counters, so you can work with several types of counters with the same RTU, only the meter unit type parameter needs to be specified.
  • There is no limitation of the number of subscribers connected to our system.
  • Remote software update including the utility Control Center.
  • Attractive price also makes the system competitive with one-way systems available on the market
